The EMP-ABB campus in Bamako

The Peacekeeping School has modern facilities suited to its mission. When it was founded, the designers wanted a site that would offer the greatest possible comfort to thousands of future students while being robust enough for buildings in a Sahelian environment.
Today the school has:

  • 2 classrooms with 30 seats,
  • 1 modular classroom with 30 to 60 seats, called the “Operations Centre” (CO),
  • 1 conference room with 80 seats,
  • 1 lecture theatre with 200 seats, with mobile sound and projection equipment,
  • 1 audiovisual centre,
  • 1 documentation centre open to students,
  • 50 furnished individual studios (140 cm bed with mosquito net, air conditioning, refrigerator, bathroom, desk, television),
  • 10 “VIP” studios,
  • 1 catering and leisure service with a bar, satellite TV room, self-service dining room (50 seats) and an internet café.

Future works should increase trainee accommodation capacity and add a modern gym and an infirmary. Very soon, extended Wi-Fi coverage will provide high-speed internet in all buildings.
